phenomenon of Tangle Teezer

 

My daughter is 7 and has extremely loooong hair. Thick, curly and hard to control. Combing her hair is an exhausting struggle for both of us. I was looking for a perfect brush since long, long time. No luck. Natural or plastic, ionic or pneumatic pillowed...No way. Not working
Anyway, I decided to check the YT for the solution. Everybody would. And I found Tangle Teezer....
well, I can't say it's not working, cause it kinda does. But I can't say it's a miracle maker, combing her hair is a less unpleasant thing now, but to say it isn't pulling ... I can't. Plus it drives me crazy to keep on watching the right position of a brush, cause  these plastic bristles are impossibly easy to deflect and then they stop brushing right, without tugging. Now from terrible we moved to just unpleasant. 
One thing bothers me now - if the brush is sooooo wonderful, why isn't it used in professional salons? Of course, the brush is much better than other ones but I am not sure if it's worth that much money  (13 EUR + p&p). For my girl it was worth to buy, cause she has hair difficult to manage (very long, thck and curling), but for somebody with "normal" hair? Hmmmm....anyway for 10 points max I can give 7.
